&lt;h2 id="introduction"&gt;Introduction&lt;a class="anchorjs-link" href="#introduction"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;&lt;p&gt;This blog post aims to provide a very simplistic introduction to the concepts of AI. It&amp;rsquo;s going to do this through
a worked example for finding the answer to &amp;ldquo;Life, The Universe, and Everything&amp;rdquo;. In this example, we are just going
to conduct our own &amp;ldquo;Deep Thought&amp;rdquo; experiment to narrow down all possible answers to just a single one. We will then
look at how incorrect answers and hallucinations can arise, before applying the basic concepts we have learnt to
